 Tim Hinkley Trio

After a listen to Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally", there was no looking back. From his early days in England backing Lee Dorsey, Sonny Boy Williamson and singer Ben E. King, Tim has always loved Blues and Soul Music. He first experienced TV and 'Top of the Pops' playing with 'The Bo Street Runners', whose drummer was Mick Fleetwood.

Tim went on to become one of the world's top session musicians recording and touring with Humble Pie, Van Morrison, George Harrison, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Tom Waits, Bad Company, Whitesnake, Tim Buckley, Al Stewart, Thin Lizzy, Roger Daltrey and his old friend, Ten Years After Guitarist, Alvin Lee.

From Jody Grind, Tim's Hammond organ trio that impressed audiences across Europe in the sixties to Hinkley's Heroes, the loose jamming band made up of seventies fugitives from the top British rock acts of the time, Tim has always been there playing his music.
Beside his work as a musician, Tim produced records by the likes of Johnny Hallyday, Chris Farlowe and Steve Marriott.

Tim continues to play in a duo with guitarist Andreas Werner and with his Tim Hinkley Trio featuring the mighty Hammond B3.
